Steel is only way to go
Excellent product. With the steel inserts you can actually remove it when you "utilize" your hand guards and have to remove the inserts to straighten your guards back out (if you know what I mean). They don't lose their shape and the tabs don't break off if you take them out more than once like the inferior aluminum inserts will which can become ineffective even during installation when you readjust a couple of times to get them perfect. Highly recommend them.Excellent product.
