    We are all Women on the Edge of Time

    I have always loved this book. It was required reading for my first Womens Studies Course at Ohio State University. Even though this is probably classified as Science Fiction it crosses the border of classifications into fantasy, horror, and adventure. They say "truth is stranger than fiction", and that is certainly the case with this book of fiction. I bought this book a second time because it has been profoundly true with each passing year. I gave my first copy away to a woman I thought might gather knowledge from it. I highly recommend this book to women of all ages. When Marge Piercy visited our town, I went to hear her read her poetry largely because of my respect for her as a writer who has helped me define my own "edge"

    A Fantastic Vision of the Future

    I bought this book for my sociology class. I thought it was an extremely interesting look at how the world might one day be. Unlike like other Utopian novels, this book acknowledges society's imperfections and natural human characteristics that are impossible to erase. I highly recommend this book. It's a very easy read, but it will definitely keep you thinking.
