      If you are a parent or teacher of small children, you will love this book.

      Suzuki was one of the most remarkable educators of the 20th century, though his brilliant insights into the way children learn are often obscured by the popularity of his piano and violin methodology which are still popular today worldwide. This inspiring autobiographical how-to manual is a delight to read, being well stocked with compelling historical and personal anecdotes (including such unexpected golden nuggets as Suzuki's personal exchanges with renowned physicist and amateur violinist Albert Einstein). Teachers of every stripe will appreciate the universally true principles Suzuki realizes here with the acute discernment of a born educator; and while his philosophy occasionally acknowledges the tenets of Buddhism that evidently comprise his spiritual foundation, parents and ...

      I Love It!

      My daughter's piano teacher recommended this book along with "TO Learn with Love". This is a must read for parents who aren't musically inclined. This book is really encouraging as well as a good story. It reads almost as a novel. It mixes history, culture and motivational prose all into one. It has the aire of a time or era gone by, with plenty of lessons to learn from it.
