    Been a painter since 1977. Started using Sata spray guns in ‘94 and have spent thousands on them over the years. The new ones are way overpriced IMO. Thought I would try one of the DV1 guns. This is my 3rd purchase. Only a couple years away from hanging it up for good and these spray just as well as the Sata and a lot cheaper so I will be using these from now on. Still have a bunch of Sata 5000’s but most are collecting dust now

    It was a lot of money for a paint gun. But It was worth every penny. It's the best paint gun I've ever sprayed with. Fans out unlike any other gun I've ever seen. No metallic mottling, and lays down super. It not only did a super job on the base coat, it did a great job on the clear coat as well. I'm very impressed. I just do this for a hobby at home, but I only like to have to do things once. I'm so impressed I'm going to spend the money and buy a clear coat gun as well.

    This IS the gun to buy !

    Formally an Iwata LPH400 sprayer, I was never satisfied with the way it sprayed metallics or candy regardless of what cap I used and I have all 3. After reading all the glowing reviews I bit the bullet and bought the DV1. It's all they say it is and more. It's the most perfect pattern I ever witnessed. I'll still use my Iwata for clear but my basecoat gun will forever be the Devilbiss DV1

    DV1 plus 1.3/1.4 Gets the job done

    Devilbiss DV1 2023- MPS system, built in gage. Ran it at 29- 31 lbs.1.4 nozzle in basecoat. , ( you only change nozzles not fluid tip/ aircap! Got some orange peal couldnot stop it. fluid adj. was good no rus on entire car. Could be paint. Lower rating because it spit out some paint 2x. In middle of cup not end not beginning?? Large droplets 5- 8 drops. Hard to rate I was using lower price auto paint, Sherwin Williams but " modified by jobber. Acrylic Ename 1K l not base / clear. 1st 100% car job sprayed w/ this gun
