      Perfect, beware of industry non-standard 520 bytes sector size; needs reformatting under Linux.

      Works like a charm as those drives are for heavy duty enterprise use. However, the need to be formatted with a 512 bytes sectors in order to work with a regular server. This can be easily achieved on CentOS Linux.

      IT IS A opened DELL HDD

      The item came with a label "Dell" The connector has traces of connection to the server. This is not a 100% new product in unopened packaging. At least it was tested.
