Super Fast Shipping! This is my 2nd demo hammer, these are fantastic tools and last for YEARS! Sold my first one to a neighbor a couple weeks ago-he'd borrowed it several times. These hammers easily break deep concrete~make removing fence posts in concrete MUCH easier ! You can't find a tool like this for the price at Harbor Freight, Lowe's or Home Depot :)

Light, powerful, efficient, easy to use.

This jack hammer was needed for a specific job, making post holes in rocky ground. I am very impressed, it is relatively light and since I'm 77 I appreciate that. It is powerful, the chisel bit chewed through our rocky soil and the hardest job was using a conventional post hole digger to lift out the spoil. I would have appreciated a longer bit for getting deeper into the hole, but most people would not be using this tool for that job. I'm half way through the 40 holes that I have to dig and it works very well, even my wife is able to have a go at it. I am using a long extension lead of conventional size, a heavy duty cable was not needed.

seems well built but I won't know how it works Till I get the oil in the crank case

It was delivered with no oil in the tool and no oil to fill it with. Read the instructions and it stated Shell 40 weight. Well the local Shell stations don't carry 40 weight. checked 2 major auto parts stores with no luck so I ordered some and it took 2 weeks to get.Just got the oil yesterday!! had to rent a jack hammer to do my project so I'm really not to happy at this point. I will put oil in it and it will most likely get used soon enough. Wish someone had a little quality control!!!!!!!

  • Looks exactly like Hitachi. Product is working ok.

I puut 20 hours on and it started to leak oil from it. But stil working and doing its job. The cost for it it was like 1 day rent the Hitachi from rental place. So if its leaks no big deal

  • Definitely worth the money for a DIY job

Little experience with this type of.tool as.a.DIYer, but I can say it was very easy to use. Went through concrete like butter, and seemed.to be solidly put together. 1 drawback, is that given the size of the bits i.e. 1-1/8th shank, it's been difficult to find a scraper bit that would fit this demo hammer. Whilst the hammer comes with 2 bits for breaking concrete, neither are good.for.removing thinset.

  • Not quite perfect

One of the holes in the base was stripped out or drilled and tapped incorrectly so the bolt would not tighten. Actually it just fell through. Other than that it is a great deal and when we fix that it will be sturdy (we have tried it out anyway). Our fix will be to drill a different hole close by and tap it for the threads.
