Where the two pipes met, the outer pipe circumference was a tad bigger than the 2.5 inch clamp would allow -- had to file the holes in the bottom portion slightly to install U-bolt clamp. Luckily, I had something with me. I was working on the daughter's jeep and had to drive three hours to get there.
