With my old kit I recently came up short to access a hold down bolt to loosen a battery mount. This kit is designed to give you all the tools and extensions you might need for metric or inch requirements. All tools and sockets click into a mounting slot allowing you to quickly see the tool you might need

so this is one of those "you get what you pay for" things. it was the best price for a good sized set, but the quality is not great. the ratchets work but are a bit loose. If you have to pull hard on one of the bits it will deform. The bits don't fit tightly into the handle or the sockets and will fall out. also the tools don't fit tightly in the case and when you open it up they fall out of their slots. The latches on the case work very hard, requiring a lot of effort before they pop open. I don't think my girl friend could open this case without using a tool of some kind. lastly the adjustable wrench won't stay adjusted and slides off of whatever you are working on. I really wish I had spent another $20 and gotten some tools that were better quality. They have been OK for occasional use and have worked for some minor jobs. I keep them in the back of my jeep.Read full review

I am a hot rod builder and was looking for a compact yet somewhat well rounded tool set to put in the trunk when I go to a car show. You never know when 640 HP is going to shake something loose or a quick repair may be needed once you get there. Its also nice to be able to lend a friend a hand with unforeseen problems. This tool kit will do the job. Just had to add a ball peen hammer and it has everything do do quick repairs on the fly.

Sharp carry case (which is a bit tough to open at time's). I expect that to change the more I open and close the snaps on the case. Most tools are securely displayed but also have the same problem as opening the case. Should loosen up time goes on. So far quality seems on par with SnapOn or Crescent tools. Value....I paid $65.78 for this 198 piece set. I’m 72 and probably won’t use a 10th of the 198 pieces in this set. That being said, iI’d be tickled if they last longer than me.
