    This eyecap does not say Canon but it works fine for now, maybe in the future it might fail...maybe it might not.

    This product is soft enough to snugly be against your face for the whole day without irritation, I see no sharp edges nor quality control issues. I just got this eye cap and have not given it a real road test. They fall off easily if pushed up against any part of you...for any reason, so it be wise to get a second. So far...so good.

    Falls off

    The build isn't bad but the Eyecup does not clip into place solidly. They fall off way too easily, I lost two in the first few days I used them on my two cameras. Will need modification to be worthwhile.

    Better Than the Original!

    After losing the eye cup that came with my camera, I purchased three of these so that I would have replacements in case I lost another one. Not only is it exactly like the original eye cup, it actually fastens to the camera a bit tighter which may prevent it from slipping off inadvertently.
