    Cheaply made

    I knew it couldn't be too nice of a product for the price, but even so: i could not even get the drawers to close after assembly until making adjustments to the drawers for about 20 minutes, and they still don't sit just right. Does look nice, however finish is made of plastic, not a veneer. Took about 4 hours to put together, however I was doing it very slowly and listening to music while doing so.

    very detailed long instructions over 20 pages!

    I still haven't finished putting this product together. I think once I finish it, it will be very attractive. I know how to follow instructions and I've put together many products, but this is the worst. If I had known this, I would have gone to an upscale office supply store and paid the extra cost to have an assembled cherry filing cabinet. The wood is actually laminate, but it is attractive and since it is for a home office, I think it will look just fine. If you are not mechanically inclined, I suggest you pay some one who is, to put it together, or perhaps bribe a very good friend who is a mechanic. I do suggest that you separate all the screws, and other assembly objects into different piles. There are several screws that are different in length, yet the color is the same. It will ...

    Good file cabinet

    Nice cabinet with detailed instructions, I had only minor issues putting together. Four stars only because I would have preferred solid wood over composite.
