The mintage of the 1915 Dime dropped significantly, for reasons unknown, from the previous year. Nevertheless, the mintage of 5,620,000 pieces was large enough to keep this date in the "type" category. It is generally available in all grades up to, and including, MS66. The PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census consists almost entirely of MS66+ examples, with a couple of MS67's at the top of the ladder. One of those was from the Lily Nicole Collection (sold in 2015); the other appeared in a 2016 Heritage sale (consigner not revealed).
1915 Dimes are usually well struck with strong luster and (often) great eye appeal. Look for examples with attractive toning, as these tend to hold their value in the long term.
