very sturdy, excellenet features, good value for the money.
This is a sturdy mount, people I know who used it all said it held zero with the rifle they used it on. For the less experienced, instructions should be included. I had to study this mount a few times before I figured out how it installed, but once it was on my rifle-greT!

Solid as a tank and stability is excellent.
Solid as a tank and stability is excellent. This mounts beautifully if you leave the spring in the rear sight and use a C clamp to press the rail into the mount. I have the carbine version of the Mosin Nagant and had to spend less than 2 minutes filing the aluminum edges so the rail would lay flat. Very recommended.

Pretty decent
Works great on my 1942 M38. I just had to round out the corners of the mount to make it fit in my rear sight base. Other than that quick adjustment it's perfect. Holds zero well so far.

Cheap Fix
This mount was very inexpensive-I expected it to be junk. I was happy the way it mounted securely and it has held zero so far. It will work better than my 70 year old eyes. I won't be shooting in competition so this old boy will just be having fun shooting at coyotes with an old gun. By the way I do have several 22-250's, 204's, 300 win mag etc. I would not recommend this for the big shot shooters but if you just want to get closer it will help.This mount was very inexpensive-I expected it to be junk.
