Best value for an aftermarket magwell option hands down.
Great value for a quality steel parts. The fact that this also includes the internals makes picking this a much better choice over it's competitors. The finish on actual magwell portion of the stainless option matched the finish on the kimber lw 1911 slide and controls perfectly. The ability to remove the magwell, from the mainspring housing is also a nice option to have. Mine required some minor blending with a hand file and sand paper to eliminate a small amount of over hang inside the magwell, but this seems to be common among all after market magwells. Blending wasn't necessary for function, but I wanted it to look as close to stock as possible. Great value for a quality steel parts. It needed a little work to make the retaining pin to go flush with the mainspring housing. it came very nicely polished And for the price you cant beat it. Just dont expect the quality to be that of like smith and alaexnder and others. You get what you pay for. And not every build needs to be top tier parts.

GREAT product, GREAT value!
After seeing the prices of the Wilson Combat version (and the like) at well over $100, I was a little skeptical of this version. I got it for my Springfield Armory 9mm target (stainless steel), and it fit perfectly, was easy to install, and looks like it's part of the gun. I highly recommend this magwell! Quality 1911 Magwell
This is a very good quality 1911 magwell. Like most parts for a 1911 it requires some fitting. It needed some material removed from the bottom inside that contacts the frame before it would slide all the way in. Once completely seated it fit perfectly to the magazine opening. I used blue Loctite on the screw that holds the well to the main spring housing. The main spring and parts are the same weight as Les Baer provides so no difference in trigger pull. Excellent product, aesthetically pleasing.
Fits perfectly, no working this to make fit. Beautifully finished product, is as advertised. Most all Main spring housings are plastic, this NOT. Also, most kits do NOT come included in original price, a new Main spring, both main spring end caps and retaining pin. Usually have to obtain the ones that you have just removed. Nice touch!
