    I am extremely pleased with these tires.

    They used tires went on to a jeep Wrangler two door that I drive all the time. I do not attempt to go into areas that are extremely wet or muddy. I do not participate in any off road activities. However, we have had an unusual amount of rain this year and I have places in my pasture that are still wet. I also have a small spring creek that I have to cross behind our house going to Port of her pasture. These tires were perfect, as the majority of my driving is on pavement. There is a minimum amount of road noise from these tires. They are very good at gripping a wet pavement. I am extremely pleased with these tires.

    These tires don t have much traction on ...

    These tires don t have much traction on pavement and lose grip easily in rain. They re a little noisy but not as bad as some other all terrain tires I ve had. They look great though.

    Goodyear Duratrac tires

    This is my second set of Duratrac's and were purchased to replace my existing set. I'm 59 and an outdoorsman and I expect a lot from my tires. My first set of Duratrac's have been on my truck for more than 2 years and approximately 40,000 miles and I've had zero problems with them. These are the best AT tires I have ever tried in the last 40 years! Great in the snow and the mud and built to last! I've never had a puncture or any other issue and I drive some pretty rugged trails. I easily have a third of the life left on my existing set but I found a good deal and jumped on it. I highly recommend these tires!

    Excellent tread design.

    Bought there tires for my Duramax that I use around the farm, for hunting and snow plowing. Amazed at how quiet they are on the road yet have open enough tread and enough side lugs to get through muddy stuff. Lots of angled biting edges and sipes make this a great tire for ice, snow or wet roads. I highly recommend them though I don't know what kind of tread life you will get with lots of highway miles or towing.

    D vs E Load

    Wanted a heavier duty truck tire but did not really want the heavier weight and harsh ride of an E load tire. Very few good options out their for D load but found that Goodyear offers Duratracs in D load size 275/70/r18. Perfect tire for my 1500 and also R-speed rated. Tires ride comfortable and still offer the better D load 8-ply durability. E load (10-ply) tires are way overkill for a 1500 truck and really only needed if you have a 2500 or 3500.
