    simple, small, but, highly detailed

    Could have came with a complete set of aztecing decals, like the polar lights uss enterprise refit model,,,but im very pleased...and i can buy a set of decals on ebay, to complete the look....great addition to my 1/1000 collection.

    To explore strange new model kits

    So going at this kit from a purely snap fit perspective, it's meh to poor. The plastic quality is thin, seems very brittle after coming from Gunpla and Bandai kits. And let me just say as a warning. This kit will not stay together purely on it's own merits. You need glue, or anther adhesive. Something which they omit to tell you on the box, claiming that it's a "Snap" kit. The pylons that support the Warp Nacelles are weakly connected by tiny, thin pegs. that absolutely will not support their own weight. As I am out of glue, I used tape, which seems to hold the kit together fine. That being said, if you're expecting Bandai, you're not going to find it. Clear parts are extremely fragile, and expect them to break before you get them to slot in correctly. This is definitely a kit you want ...
