    AMD A8-5500B APU

    This processor is excellent both in speed and efficiency. The 3.2 GHZ is fast with a built in GPU and still very cost efficient running at 65W. It runs very cool and has the advantage of a boost in speed to 3.7 GHZ when needed. AMD builds quality products that are very reliable.

    Excellent processor with embedded GPU (graphics) at low power, makes a great HTPC.

    Nice boost from my A4-4000 which was very reliable and low energy, but the A8-5500 is a good performer for connecting to my HDTV to stream Netflix, Prime, etc. This processor paired with an SSD and 8GB's of RAM is awesome.
