The google Chromecast works fine, but I never received the cord to connect it to the piece itself. Luckily I used the old one I had previously and so it does work. Easy to Set Up
As this was an open box product, I reset it to factory settings first by using the reset button. Then I followed the set-up procedure in the phone app and was able to link to a TV in about 5 minutes. It helps if you already know how to do casting from your laptop to a TV. Otherwise, it may take some time to learn about that end of the link.
