Great for collecting cat urine samples!
It's almost "fun" to use... and "fun" and "cat urine collection" are not two things I'd usually put together. Get a clean (preferably new) litter box or tray, put in the hydrophobic sand, and when the cat pees, the pee sits on top of the sand, sort of like oil and water. So easy - just tip the box and slowly pour off the pee or use the enclosed pipette. Although you can technically re-use it, you probably wouldn't. You can't get all the pee out of the box, and then I'd guess bacteria would grow, which would contaminate future samples (for medical testing) I like it better than No-SorbVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Absolute must for collecting cat urine.
My cat has had uti's. Trying too get him to void on a few pieces of torn paper towel was not easy. He would pace and meow for 20-30 minutes before giving in. This worked like a charm! Non-absorbent cat litter
You need this if you want to collect a urine sample yourself from your cat. Otherwise the vet will use a needle on the cat's bladder. It is expensive and my cat resists using it.
