This spotlight mount is well made and has a nice rubber seal to keep the rain out. My complaint is that it only comes with a foot of three prog cord. I had to buy another ten foot outdoor extension cord to hook up my Christmas lights. The other brands are five dollars more but have five feet or more of cord. Limited life but it works
