Excellent Book. One of the most thorough books on herbal medicines, remedies, and traditions. A lot of scientific and medical information detailing the plants, their constituents, and applications. Each entry is easy to understand and lists different methods of use. And because it is a Dorling Kindersley Publication it has a great layout with beautiful pictures throughout! Concise and easy to understand...goes beyond the basics.
I replaced this book for the one I lost in the Camp fire of 11/08/2018. We've just gotten back into a home and there were some books and items I wanted to replace as we lost everything we had. Being in our 70's, most things aren't even around that we were looking for. I was so happy to find this book as my Mom had given it to me years ago, when it came out.
