    GREAT Walkman

    Was very happy to find this GREAT walkman, they are few and far between. Good price and works very well. I have problems sleeping and use this with under pillow speaker with sleep therapy CD. Went thru batteries pretty fast so ordered the AC power adapter and works very well.

    Simple interface, just press play and go

    Fine sound quality using a burned CD-RW to listen to MP3 encoded music of all genres, even at full volume. A more modern DAC like a iPod or Android phone has much more clarity but for a vintage item I think it's worth it. Two (2) old AA rechargeable Energizer batteries lasted me days of hour long sessions without recharging. G-Protection works good as well, but don't use too many scratched CDs or it will not play very well with them. All around great portable MP3 CD player.

    It's evident that this player was manufactured by Sony during the last days of the format's popularity. Hence, the sound quality is not on par with players produced in the late 90s, indicating a noticeable difference in performance.
