    Pleasantly suprised!

    Was very surprised at how good this rifle was. I thought I would get a "starter rifle" and decided on the cheaper "Wildcat Whisper" instead of the more expensive rifles, but was set on Gamo. I was excited to say the least when I started shooting it. The 4x32 scope was just "OK" at best. Could barely see the red dot on my target at 30 yards. I opted to get another scope, Leapers UTG 6-24x50, and was extremely glad I did. The rifle is accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. It may not be as powerful as some of the other rifles but gets the job done. I live in a neighborhood and have had no complaints about me shooting. It seems to be just the right amount of sound, not a click and not a loud bang either. For me, just right. Would recommend the rifle!

    I like the rifle, but I purchased to kill squirrels that were getting in my house. I shot several squirrels, in some cases, several times. No kill.

    If you want this rifle to hut squirrels, don't buy it. I used three different types of pellets and none worked. Even head shots didn't kill them. I shot one three times and he still ran away. If you are using it for target practice, great.

    Fun plinker/not THAT quiet/fine for the price

    I agree with one of the other buyers: It's not THAT quiet. I've always wanted a Gamo Whisper, but would have probably purchased the Whisper/Fusion if it weren't for the screaming deal this was at the time. Still. Even with the basic cross hair scope, it is fairly accurate. Haven't shot any animals, and don't know if I'll ever have the chance. I'm mostly a paper-puncher and this one does fine on targets. Fun little plinker. Just set your expectations right.

    NOT quiet by ANY definition!

    This is probably the noisiest air rifle I've ever used! I have a cheap Chinese "springer" pellet gun that shoots at the same velocity but makes a lot less noise. The one saving grace for this rifle is that it is quite accurate. I selected this model because it was advertised as quiet, which it isn't, so I don't recommend it.

    Great air rifle but I question the scope.

    Lot of trouble sighting in the scope/rifle, shot good group but wouldn't stay on bullseye when returned to the bench--sight in again but same thing. ????? I like the rifle and how it shoots and operates but doubt the scope--will research the scope more.
