    Great quality with comfortable fit

    This is a great headphone set, one of my all-time favorites. They feel light and comfortable on the head and provide excellent sound quality across the entire frequency range. I use them for watching movies and TV and have never been disappointed in the performance of these headphones.

    New Yamaha RH5MA studio headphones.

    This new pair sounds even better than my original set of Yamaha headphones (same model) from 2004. Outstanding! They are "open-back", so not recommended while recording drums, unless you like hearing the live drums in the room. I like how you can hear the room with these headphones on. Makes communicating with other musicians easy. I use a pair of "closed-back" sennheiser hd 280 pro's for tracking drums. They block out all of the loud room noise.

    Accurate uncolored sound

    I have used several sets of these headphones, from Yamaha, for the last 17 years. My use is in a recording studio where sound is everything, while monitoring and mixing. They are the headphone equivalent of Yamaha's famous NS-10 speakers, which I also utilize in my control room, above the console. They are very comfortable and lightweight, reasonably priced, and their sound is accurate. The sound delivered is uncolored, which is of primary concern while recording, mixing, etc. The only complaint I have about them, is the ear pads seem to start flaking off finish within a short time. That problem is only cosmetic, as I have started placing a shear covering over them, which is interchangeable and doesn't affect their pristine sound.

    Good favourite headphones...

    Bought my first RH-5Ma 10+ years ago... very user-friendly but not for big ears with great sound. Mine was broken by accident but working great all this years! After 4+ months of delivery got this gem again. Thank you Atsuto Uno! Big love from russia, you made me happy.
