This Kershaw Barstow (model 3960) straight pocket knife is all-black. It comes with speed safe assisted blackwash Folding for safe opening. This product comes with a glass-filled nylon handle which gives it a firm grip. It has a 3-inch spear point stainless steel blade and a reversible pocket clip. This knife has a frame lock which prevents accidental closure, and the flipper safely moves the blade out of the handle. It weighs 3.4oz.

    Very nice knife

    I needed a new pocket knife for every day. I bought this and I really enjoy the feel and how handy it is. I would definitely recommend it. They don't use the plastic washers common in newer less expensive knives between the frame and blade. The blade stays sharp. The clip can be moved from side to side for left or right hand users. Really nothing for me to complain about.

    Disappointed in Kershaw

    The assisted opening action is sluggish. Tough to deploy. Additionally, the blade is shorter than advertised and has less robust than many of my other Kershaw knives. Of course, my other Kershaws are US made, but for the price point, the Blur is a much better value.

    Looks like a dagger!

    The Barstow is unique in that it looks like a double-edged dagger, but is, in fact, an assisted opening single-edged pocket knife. It's a bit heavier than I like for EDC, but tolerable under some circumstances. I would find it to be too bulky for dress pants, but OK for jeans or chinos. Otherwise, it appears to be well-made and is very attractive in appearance.

    Exceptional knife at a great price. High quality. Easy to operate. Very impressed. Have now ordered 3, two of which will go in duty belt/ firearm belt.
