The Traxxas Velineon VXL-3S brushless motor features a high-temperature neodymium magnet and delivers efficient, powerful, high-torque output in 1/10th scale vehicles. The motor's high-speed ball bearings and precision-balanced rotor are designed to produce less friction and extend the natural life of the system, nearly eliminating the need for maintenance. The VXL-3S motor accepts a wide range of battery packs, from 4-cell nickel-metal hydride to nickel-cadmium to lithium polymer. It is also designed to withstand the natural elements, including mud, snow, rain, and puddles.

    Excellent product

    This converts the vehicle from the Titan motor to brushless power. It has completely changed our Traxxas Rustler from a nice mild mannered learning RC into a pavement scorching, wheelie popping, dream machine. When you upgrade this and the batteries to 3 cell 11.1 volt lipo batteries the car becomes a challenge for new users to handle. My son has gone from letting this car rest in the hobby room to playing with it daily regardless of the weather. He prefers this car to our nitro machines and our other lipo vehicles. He hasn't touched the Team Associated RC8.2e since this upgrade. If you have the Titan 12t this will make it a new vehicle.

    Traxxas 3350R Review

    More than enough! Great moter! This thing is fast I have it installed in my slash 2wd truck and I'm using a 5000 mah lipo battery! If you want speed and power this is an excellent choice this is also waterproof when I was searching around I noticed that the others were not. You will also need to set your slipper clutch because this has a lot of power and your car will keep flipping if you don't. I have mine set just right and I'm very happy with this purchase!

    Beats brushed

    This is the second motor/speed control I purchased to convert a brushed Traxxas vehicle into a brushless version. Just get ready to hold onto your lug nuts because the vehicles perform 200% better. Now beware that you may break your vehicle faster so be prepared to buy replacement parts. All in all they’re excellent motors and I have no complaints.

    Great upgrade!

    This brushless motor upgrade really woke up my Gravedigger. It is unbelievably fast and the battery lasts longer. The conversion was relatively simple but the instructions could have been just a little more detailed. There is reprogramming required but the instructions are included. This is a quality product original Traxxas equipment. It is a complete kit.

    scary fast

    This motor makes the brushed motor that came with my truck look like it was twisted rubber band driven. It is scary fast and very powerful. The motor has great power. I drove up a hill with about a 65% incline without slowing down. I also increased drive time,per-charge, by 43%.
