    Best I have been able to find.

    I have used Dig timers for decades and found they are reliable. I was disappointed at a couple of changes made to it a few years ago. Mainly I miss the ability to manually open the valve. It is sometimes needed when the electronic timer fails. The timers do not last as long as the older ones did, so it would be nice if we could just buy the timer to replace a failed one. I have never had a valve go bad. So it would save a lot of time replacing a valve. I have numerous of these timers working in 8 areas of my property.

    No problems. This is a "stand by" unit. It's always a good idea to have a spare one of these. The electronics usually last for about 10 years before going kaput.
