    almost perfect

    A very power gadget replacing almost all the blenders and bullets. Perfect for smoothies, gravies, sauces...... You have the control of mixing together all ingredients for your consistency. Mix stuff ahead of time in plastic sealable containers and store when you are ready to use. Addition of a water proof variable speed slide or dial would make this perfect. If you have difficulty with pulse buttons (You have to hold them down to operate) this will be hard to use. The two speed pulse buttons are very hard to push and hold especially if you have joint problems in your hands. The unit is very powerful and performs its function perfectly. One gentle button easily separates the mixing head from the motor for very easy cleaning. If you can deal with the hard to operate buttons, this is the ...

    Clumsy design

    Hard to hold the button in the "on" position, and if it accidentally releases, you have to unlock it again to start it. It is easy to remove the bottom for cleaning and it is well made as far as being sturdy. I don't want to pay to ship it back, so I'll keep it because I don't use it that often, but if I used it daily I would probably get so frustrated with it I'd throw it out the window and get another brand. Certainly would NOT recommend this to anyone who doesn't have strong hands and fingers, and not to anyone with even mild arthritis.

    Tough and powerful

    I previously used plastic body blenders in CP soap making, and they kept cracking. I finally went with the stainless body of this model. I'm very happy with the change. This model is beefy and solid, with clearly better construction. Comfortable to hold and easy to clean. The shaft fastens securely to the motor housing yet detaches easily. The motor on this one does not struggle or overheat. I should have invested in this model from the start. I highly recommend the Cuisinart.

    This model has WAY more torque than previous one, not recommended for anyone with hand issues

    I personally like this product, as my last one wore out. I use it daily to make protein shakes. This model you have to use thumb & index finger on your dominant hand to turn it on and keep on. It has an incredible amount of pull to it, even in slow speed, so when they say you can stir w/ the other hand, good luck. You'll be too busy holding the container and the running stick @ the same time.

    Great tool, safety switch is a really bad feature

    We replaced an old version which had served us faithfully, but we just plain wore it out. This one has a safety interlock switch on the top which essentially requires two handed operation, one to hold the interlock switch and one to hold the on button. I guess someone must have stuck their free hand in the blades on an older version.
