I bought this for my MTD mower which never had a catcher; the product is sturdy enough and mounted as it said it would but it seems too light. If you have an uneven lawn it does not handle bouncing very well and comes loose. I am going to mount some sort of weight to the bottom of the bag to try to keep it in place. This bag does fit my mower but it is sometimes difficult to get it on properly. Also the assembly written directions are a little confusing so be sure to look carefully at the pictures. The fabric of the grass catcher is hardy. The frame is sturdy. Assembly is quick using basic hand tools. Like directions state, it attaches to the underside bar supporting the side discharge shoot with relative ease.
