    Great game, but some maintenance may be required.

    Much in the vein of Dark Tower and The Omega Virus, Mall Madness is a family electronic/board game hybrid that challenges players to optimize their money to be the first to get 6 items from the mall and exit. You'll find most of the strategy is based around weighing the advantages of a closely located store and a possible sale that is further away. The rules are fairly simple as most of the complexity of the game is handled by a central battery-operated game master of sorts. Movement, random events, and results from purchases and bank withdrawals are all handled by the computer module. It's a 20-30 minute casual play that shows off the fun teenage mall culture of the 80s and early 90s. Setup of the game takes a bit as little cardboard pieces slide into plastic walls and cardboard walkways ...

    Great game!

    We have played this game multiple times already. All ages enjoy it and even the teenage boys got a kick out of it! Not too long a game, it is easy and realistic and yet with just enough cuteness. Great to have once again.
