    Vortex scope for New Zealand bush conditions,

    Have only had this on a tripod so far , ( hunt in April ) It is clear and sharp right to the edge . Lined up on a magpie at about 80 metres , could have taken his eye out I reckon . The construction feels solid , adjustments have the right amount of friction , overall an excellent bit of kit that I am sure will be on the .243 for years to come. I almost went for a scope with ED glass but am now glad I kept the extra cash for new boots. Yet to try it in dawn or dusk conditions but I have no worries that it won't excel there as well.     Awesome scope and Even better warranty

    I am a huge fan of Vortex scopes and I normally would never buy a used scope but I know that Vortex has the best warranty in the industry and this takes all the worry away. I have probably ten vortex scopes and I can tell you you will not find a more clear optic in this price range and I will probably never buy another brand of scope

    Vortex Rimfire

    Really a nice scope. Oscular Lens is on the big side, which eliminates that black shadow you get when your eye is not perfectly centered in lens. You might have to go up in size on your scope ring height like I had to, for my bolt handle would not clear the oscular bell. But well worth it, you don’t have to look around for the crosshairs. Adjust knobs are precise in both directions. My big game scopes are Swarovski’s, Kahles, and Leica. This Vortex is right there with them.

    Very nice

    Absolutely clear and of great quality. More bulky than the leupold vx-1 but just as clear and easy to adjust. Eye relief is a little shy, but for a rimfire it’s fine.
