    More than I expected

    So glad I purchased Amazon Fire HD 8 (10th Generation). Even though I own an iPad Air, which I use even more than my laptop, it was too heavy to be truly comfortable when reading. However, after getting the Fire & adding 128gb SD memory card. I now use the Fire as much as the iPad Air with less wrist fatigue. I enjoy it so much I purchased another for my cousins birthday. She, too, loves the Fire HD8. I highly recommend this unit.

    Unwanted ads and e-reader app problems

    This tablet is a little disappointing. When I turn it on, I immediately get an advertisement on my screen. The first 2 days it was an ad for cat food, and I don't even have a cat. The tablet also won't work with my favorite e-reader app. The tech people at my library couldn't even get it to work. I've jumped thru lots of hoops trying to fix these issues with no success. My last tablet was the first generation Nook. It lasted for a loooong time and was much more user friendly.

    I love my!

    I like this product so much I ordered a second one for a gift. The size is perfect and has every thing i need with great features, I only wish i had gotten the 64 GB in stead of the 32 GB. Very good product and priced reasonable.

    Nice tablet, long lasting battery

    That it has the so-called "special offers," I expected the ads would interfere with using the tablet. Turns out they are only there when it wakes up and can be removed with a swipe. Would rate a five if they didn't have them.

    Fire 8hd 10th Generation

    Great price but was not new it was used because I had to delete iitems that Previous owner had entered, Like 8hd, 10 generation Registered in that person’s name. But still a great tablet. Still learning different sites and functions
