    D3000 main not be the best but it is just right for me

    Although this camera is not rated the highest it is a good value. I paid a very low price and now have a quality camera to start my learning on how to take pictures and capture memories. I will utilize the saving on purchasing lens and filters to explore my creative abilities. Once I have mastered more I will move up but for now this camera will do just fine.

    I Like It

    I am replacing a Nikon 5000 that quit working, so this camera is pretty much just an updated model. I have lenses, one that cost more than the original camera, so I couldn't stand the thought of not having a camera to use my lenses with. It's a great DSLR to start with, and unless you REALLY get into photography, it's going to be all you will need. It takes beautiful pictures (if pictures don't turn-out, it's human error), and since it's digital, you can see if you are happy with your pictures immediately, and retake them if you are not.
