Set in a DC Comics universe where the line between good and evil is extremely blurry, Injustice: Gods Among Us pits iconic comic book characters like Batman, Lex Luthor, and Wonder Woman against one another in classic fighting action. Injustice offers more than 20 playable characters, broken into Power (Superman) and Gadget (The Flash) subtypes, and gamers can unleash a variety of light, medium, and heavy attacks, or pull off special moves that are unique to each character. Matches are only one round, but characters must have both of their health bars depleted to lose.<br><br>Battles take place on a two-dimensional plane in familiar locations like the Batcave and the Fortress of Solitude, but the 3D backgrounds showcase multi-tiered arenas that are partially destructible and contain a variety of interactive objects. The game's story mode finds players jumping from character to character over the course of several chapters, with some pre-fight mini-games awarding special boosts during combat. Another mode offers more than 100 character-specific challenges, while multiplayer fans can join friends for a variety of different local or online matches. All of the game modes contribute experience points that can be used to unlock rewards and alternate costumes.<br><br>The ultimate edition of Injustice is packaged with a music soundtrack and adds a variety of previously released downloadable content to the original game. Additional characters include Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod, Martian Manhunter, and Zatanna from the DC Comics universe, as well as Mortal Kombat's Scorpion. More than 40 character skins and 60 S.T.A.R. Labs missions have also been added.

    Injustice

    The game is a fighting game with DC characters. The main game has an interesting story and it has various extra fights you can do. Such as were you lose health, can not use special powers, and so on. The game isn't overly complex but I'm sure for true masters it would be. It has cool special moves and a variety of characters. My favorite character in the game was Deadshot as I found his fighting style the easiest to use. It's a good fighting game. Hey my girlfriend liked it. :)

    The Game Wasn't As Nice As I Thought.

    When I first retrieved my game, I was overjoyed. I was so overjoyed that I didn't notice I got the Regular version of Injustice instead of the Ultimate Edition as advertised. I brushed that off and decided I'd just buy the DLCs. The DLCs would delete themselves sometimes but I assumed it was the Xbox. Things however started getting a bit worse, because not a month in that I bought a DLC, my main menu began to skip like crazy. I had to restart the game entirely a few times to get it to actually load the battles. In the end, just a few days my game officially died. The entire main menu was Blank White and the game will not load a thing now. And it's truly a shame, because I absolutely loved this game for the time I played it. I kept such good care of it and always kept it safely in it's ...

    It works!

    I originally downloaded the base version on the Microsoft Store, but unfortunately, it was broken and I was unable to get it to run. I bought this and installed it from the disk, and the game works and plays wonderfully! I used to love this game, and it's still among my favorite fighters, just behind Mortal Kombat.
