    Dewalt OEM batteries very difficult to release from drill

    It is very hard to get the battery to release from the drill and the impact driver as compared to the original batteries with your very easy to push a bunch to get to release the replacement. Batteries are very, very difficult almost impossible to push in and released, I have to use a tool to help me get this done. Like I said my old batteries release much easier than these OEM replacement batteries. I will say that the charge is good and other than that they seem to be fine.

    Vanon 4.0ah Battery

    After receiving the batteries I charged all of the fully. I placed all the batteries on a drill and I was able to holb on to the shank without spinning. There was on pressure and just wouldn't hold a charge. It would even drill a hole in a 2x4. All 4 batteries were the same. The company sent me 4 more batteries and they worked much better but still not a good quality battery.

    not the best product for your tools..

    I was excited at first a better battery that will work but after charging all 4 of them, I put one in my Dewalt skill saw and tried to cut a piece of plywood 18"x 24"x1/2" and could only go about 4" before it quit and, then tried another one and it only went a couple more inches I was not happy. then when I contacted them In one of the letters they Insultad me telling me that my Dewalt charger was was not compatable with their batteries.. My thery is that they need to put the propper batteries in them so they will handle what ever tool you put them into.. I only got $50.00 of my $77.49 back.

    Don't buy this battery.

    Very disappointed with the usefulness of the battery. This battery can't be 5 amp hours. I was able to operate a Dewalt reciprocating saw for 3 or 4 minutes before the power ran down to nothing. The weight of the battery is much less than the original Dewalt 18 volt battery informing one the battery does not have the same amount of NiCad as the OEM battery.
