The phone weighs only 3.42 ounces, making it easy to handle and carry. The body is gray plastic featuring a faux-brushed aluminum finish, and it includes a monochromatic external screen that displays the current date, time, signal strength, and remaining battery life. The final look of the LG Revere 2 cell phone from Verizon Wireless is sleek and sophisticated, and the overall quality feels solid. The hinge is sturdy and holds itself in either the open or closed position without having to exert additional pressure. The phone features a numeric keypad, a five-way control pad, and six function keys labeled with icons identifying their use. With a full charge, the battery can support up to 7 hours of total talk time or up to 26 days and 6 hours of standby time. The battery can also be removed, allowing you to hot swap batteries if you have a second one available with a full charge (not included). The LG Revere 2 basic Verizon phone features 108.5 MB of internal memory to store contacts, text messages, and photos. The handset supports Bluetooth device connectivity, allowing you to speak with callers hands free while on the road or when managing other tasks.     A little workhorse

    If you want a basic flip phone (has a camera too), this is the one. I recently bought a new LG flip, and it was not as good as this little one. The sales person said that for those folks who want a simple flip phone, there is still a big demand for these and suggested that I check eBay. I like my old one so much, I returned the new model, am using my old LG Revere 2 and bought a new one just in case!

    Just like LG accolade with bigger screen- bulletproof

    I used the Lg Accolade from 2010- late 2017. Still worked fine however I would sometimes get black boxes on an incoming text from a certain smartphone user. I figured after almost 8 years, it was time to upgrade .I tried the Revere 3....slippery, hard to open, clear button right below scroll down button, texting cant keep up with the speed that I text at (unlike my 2010 accolade) and the color of the text on the classic or modern background was difficult to read compared to the old LG accolade. SO, I got the Revere 2. Not one complaint. It's like an updated version of the accolade. Receives all text messages and has a bigger screen.

    Perfect phone for just making calls

    Though this phone has texting capabilities, etc., this flip phone is perfect when the primary thing you want it for is just making calls. In fact, it's way better than a smartphone for this purpose. It's light, easy to handle, and easy to carry.
