Excellent Light!
I don't think you'll find a brighter AA flashlight anywhere else. Using a single AA alkaline battery this light puts out 300+ lumens of very clean focused light that is bright enough for any situation, but use a lithium ion or nimh rechargeable battery and the brightness raises to the rated 480 lumens and you find yourself holding a true powerhouse of a light that is small, lightweight, solidly built, and as versitile as any light can be. Run time is excellent at well over a hour on high and 3+hours on medium setting. For a E.D.C. light that fits easily in a pocket or purse and is built to last a lifetime, you just can't go wrong with this one.
