    A Truly Universal Remote

    This is the best (and probably last) universal remote that controls VCRs. It sold at Walmarts for years at only $4.98. It operates VCRs that use numbers to select menu programming options as well as those that need up/down arrows or operator buttons (Rew, Stop, FF, Play, etc.) to control programming selections. I have found that it is truly "universal." I have 3 VCRs in operation at present and 3 GE remotes to control them. Now, I have a brand new spare remote control waiting in the wings. If I can find another at a reasonable price, I'll snap that up as well.
