I installed these Focals in a 2024 VW ID...
I installed these Focals in a 2024 VW ID.4. Easy and perfect fit replacement. If you have worked with car audio speakers and installed door speakers before, to put these in is such a breeze. The only difficult parts for me was was removing the A pillars for the tweeters and the piano black trim off the door panels. Once those parts were figured out, everything was smooth sailing. Sound is nice already but will become better after they are broken in. Adding an amp will bring them to their full potential.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sounds great but doesn't fit 2011 VW Tiguan
These speakers are a vast improvement of the horrible VW stock speakers but beware as they do not fit the front door of my 2011 VW Tiguan, even though all available resources suggest that these should fit. Tweeters are an exact fit with proper connectors, and while the woofer connectors are correct, the woofer is too small for the hole in the front doors. The woofers also have four fastener holes at 90 degree intervals, while the doors have six holes at 60 degree intervals. I had to fabricate some less than ideal spacer adapters, and even under those conditions these speakers are still sound much better than original equipment. All in all, a great sounding speaker with all the proper connectors to attach. Just verify that they will fit your vehicle before buying. Don't rely on fitting guides alone! Advice: if you have an earlier model Tiguan remove the door panel and check woofer diameter before buying. The Focal ISVW 180 might be a better fit if your stock speakers are about 7 inches (180 mm). VW stock speakers are riveted in place. During installation, you will need a drill and strong wire cutters to remove rivets and a rivet tool to install replacement rivets included in the speaker kit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
