    Unprofessional shipper and sketchy listing. CPU shipped in a zip-lock bag and bubble mailer - no rigid or anti-static protection whatsoever. CPU was listed as new but it has scratches on the IHS. The listing warns of wear from storage but that would imply storage in *packaging*, not just banging around loose or it could be a lie and it's just cleaned up used cpu listed as new. Absurdly high shipping price for what you get. I contacted seller almost 24 hours ago and haven't received a response.

    Western Digital My Book Essential 2 TB, External Hard Drive

    I have several of these. The only issue was one with a dead circuit board which I replaced with a used one at a cost of $9. Western Digital will NOT supply parts for their drives, don't even ask them.

    there are no written instructions for installation or use of this product. hooking it up is easy and fool proof; the power light came on and remains on as long as my computer is on. I cannot tell it is storing data or not, how do I access stored data if my main hard drive fails. what can I do to verify this product is working properly? how do I retrieve information from it?

    This is one of the only units that will work with the DISH network as an additional drive to both store and play. This unit has a Superior build for extended use in both cooling and HD components. My other identical model contained the top rated HD wd black 2g drive. So did this purchase.

    Quiet with lots of storage.

    I was easy to set up. Really, it's plug and use. Windows found the driver and added it to my computer. Upright stance takes less room that my old one.

    Replaces One That Died After 10+ Years Of Service

    My OPPO BD player requires a 2TB max external USB drive (MBR) and I've had one of these that I purchased new in March 2012. It finally died and was looking for another NEW one...and found this! It works perfectly for my needs, integrated seamlessly on my network, and all network/drive settings remained from the one that died. Simple setup and working like a charm!
