Electronic Ballasts are Superior
When one of my old magnetic lamp ballasts stops working, I always replace it with a new electronic ballast. The electronic ballast weighs much less, so it is easy to install. The electronic ballast drives the lights at a much higher frequency than the 60 Hertz that you get from the magnetic ballast, so no one can ever see any flicker. The electronic ballast generates almost no heat while the magnetic ballast gets so hot you can barely touch it. Finally, the electronic ballast lasts longer than a magnetic ballast does. I highly recommend replacing old magnetic ballasts with new electronic ballasts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
