    It's an iMac screen inverter!

    I bought this for my early-2007 iMac A1208, and it works just fine in it. There's not a whole lot to say; if you've got an iMac with a dead screen inverter, then this is what you get, and you can say hello to your backlit screen once again! Do note that it's a rather daunting adventure tearing open an iMac, so I highly recommend you read iFixit's tutorials along the way. Just a general word of warning; before you buy a screen inverter in any instance, do what you can to be sure it isn't some other part's fault, first. On mine, the logic board and power supply were both fried. The inverter may have also been dead, but I am just not 100% sure. You can use a multimeter to test the inverter voltage input; set it for DC, and simply touch the black probe to the black wire, and the red probe to ...
