    POOR VOLUME AND RECEPTION

    Took the plunge and ordered this smart phone, have to say that it was fairly easy to understand, a long way to go so hopefully as time goes by it will become easier. Not at all happy with the volume, I was advised by Doro that the volume would be louder that the Doro 6060 which it is not (unless more volume is available within the phone details, also the reception is far worse than the 6060 no idea why. Wish at times that I had not purchased this as one of the main reasons was for more sound when making/receiving calls.It was a very good price, BUT ?????

    Unimpressive unless you want/need the emergency button function

    Advertised by sellers as 5.45" and 5.7". In fact only the 5.45" screen exists for this model (8050) Stripped down software provides a less cluttered and invasive phone experience for the less techno-savvy but if you already used a smart phone, it doesn't really provide a better experience. Most annoying and confusing notifications and invasive apps can be disabled and app shortcuts set up on a simple home screen by a techno-savvy friend on any old smart phone. So if you don't need/want the emergency 'come get me' button, this phone doesn't really offer much more than a 'normal' budget smart phone.
