    Great reference!

    Chose by the late Jack O'Connor as shooting editor of Outdoor Life ,Jim did a superb job for some 28 yrs. in this role.The book of 'The Rifle' is to me still a great reference when looking into buying a scope,rifle,etc,.I took his advice and not once been disappointed

    One of the greatest experienced Hunter's and gun writer's of all time.

    The day it arrived I had worked a 10 hour shift. I read the entire chapter on varmint rifles. Although I am a long time fan of the 22-250, I was unaware of the catagories which the Swift outperforms it I am now in the market for a 220 Swift rifle, Due to the knowledge of the cartridge learned from this chapter.
