the best electric shaver I ever had
and to be as truthful as possible, my 12 year old one was a Braun too. Replacing something that old makes the new one certainly look better than it may be, nevertheless I am really happy that I have this product. It is smooth on the skin, it is easy to be taken care of, it is appreciable that cleaning it is so easy. I also use the cleaner as a storage device. Initially I thought I spent to much money on a simple thing like an electric shaver - this one is worth every penny I have spent.

I bought this to replace a 10 year old Series 8xxx shaver. Definitely doesn't compare in terms of performance, quality, and closeness of a shave. I have to shave over the same spot numerous times which ultimately causes razer burns and bumps. I primarily use this as a backup and trimmer now.

Can't go wrong with Braun
My last shaver was a Braun and lasted for 10+ years, that is until I left it behind at a hotel. So I wouldn't settle for anything less than a Braun. Smooth and close shave every time.

Great Shaver
Originally bought this model for my husband 3 years ago. It was dropped and the trimmer portion broke. Bought a new one to replace it. He prefers this over pull razors as it seems to cause less irritation. As a pilot he shaves with this almost every day.

Surprisingly good
I have the higher end Braun already and purchased this for occasional use at a second home and was pleasantly surprised at how nice a shave it provided given its' price. Very little actual difference in performance in my estimation from my Series 7.

DOES NOT HANDLE Contours of face well
I was very excited about this Razor but after using it for the past couple weeks I am so disappointed. I have to go over and over the areas under my chin and neck area. I can not get a close shave with this razor . I will be looking to return it
