The Panasonic PT-DZ570U is a native 1920x1200 HD DLP projector featuring 4000-lumen lamp output at 2000:1 contrast, RGB booster, and lamp modulation technology that independently controls lamp intensity for each of the red, green, blue, and white segments of the color wheel. Other features of this Panasonic projector include DICOM simulation for X-ray projection, ITU-R Recommendation BT.709 mode for images from an HDTV source, 3D color management system, progressive scan, dynamic sharpness control, and digital noise reduction. This Panasonic projector supports PJLink class 1 connection to a LAN as part of a multi-projector system, and it will notify the operator of error via email. Widescreen projection gives this HD DLP projector the capability to simultaneously display two images from different sources onto a single screen. The S-Video input to this Panasonic projector is compatible with NTSC/NTSC4.43/PAL-M/PAL60, and the DVDI-D input supports 480p, 576p, 720/60p, 720/50p, 1080/60i, 1080/50i, 1080/24p, 1080/24sF, 1080/25p, 1080/30p, 1080/60p, 1080/50p, and VGA through WUXGA formats. The HDMI input is deep color HDCP compatible. The lens on the Panasonic PT-DZ570U has manual focus and manual 2x zoom, vertical +/- 40 degree keystone correction, and manual optical axis shift of +60 percent vertical and +/- 10 percent horizontal. Great projector for the price
If you are looking for a low cost low maintenance high performing 1080p projector these guys are what you should be looking for. They were only discontinued to promote the new laser projector line which launched in 2016. They produce fantastic picture quality and great image response time for money. Great for home theater and multimedia use. ..untill approx. 1500 hours when I find the image goes flat and dull on my matt white Dalite screen. Time for a new $450. dollar bulb--a HUGE bummer. Could not be happier this little puppy puts out an amazing picture! The unit is BIG though coming in at around 19 pounds, when researching I found concerns about the rainbow effect as this is a single chip DLP but I am happy to report I’ve tested with gaming, movies and live sports and have not seen any.
