Still a very good kit after almost 25 years
Great kit, it will give the modeler lots of fun hours. Fit is very good, but you have to do a little prep for the bigger parts. Glue the wing tip to the lower wing half first, you will need to fill a slight gap on the upper side as a result, but your wing will look straight. The hardest part is the clear part, it is very fragile and doesn't fit very well, I remember I had a lip on one side and a gap on the other, but the front and the rear fit the fuselage well enough. Have not tried the Falcon replacement vacu-form canopy but I hear it's better than the kit's part. it's not perfect, the seams don't align on the rear fuselage, so you will need to rescribe them. Once you are done, it looks very good. I compared the parts to the Kagero plans and they fit almost perfectly.Great kit, it will give the modeler lots of fun hours. Model was in good shape. Box was dented like a mother, but that's to be expected with old models. Besides promodeler boxes are weak. So I expected the box to look that way. Again model was in great shape. Decals weren't yellowed either
