The 1887-CC Morgan silver dollar turned out to be a FAKE. Carson City Morgan dollars were not minted from 1886 to 1888. So why did I buy it? Because I couldn't tell if the mint mark was a CC or an O, due to the poor the quality of the photo. However, the seller refunded most of my money and sent along a few additional coins that made me "okay" with the deal. Plus, I had been planning to buy a fake Morgan for demonstration purposes. This way, it only cost me $3 — not $15. Quick ship to boot! A++
