      The medal was nice. However, the packaging could have been improved. The unprotected medal shifted and tore through the inner bubble envelope during transit and had been sliding around in the larger documents envelope. This causes micro abrasions on the surface of the medal and particularly on the areas with high relief.

      Thank you for your purchase. I’m sorry you were disappointed with how the medal was packaged. It was packaged in three layers: the red felt bag, the bubble wrap, & then in the outer envelope. Adding any additional layers would have resulted in a larger package, which would have increased your shipping cost. I do hope you still enjoy the medal. It was my grandmother’s.
