Sometimes you just want a basic, well made, reliable keyboard to use on a server, or extra desktop. Wireless just won’t cut it for what you need, but cord length is important. Look no further... this is exactly what you want! Keyboard has great touch and feel and is responsive. I would not hesitate one second to buy another if I needed one.

I bought this as a replacement for my Dell wired keyboard that came with my PC I bought from them in 2013. The only issue I had with the old one was that the letters had rubbed off, and after six years (and being used to write a book) the F key started to physically stick. The new keyboard was just as easy to set up as the original, and it even has features the original didn't. I'm especially fond of the volume control buttons. The key height is comparable to the original keyboard, though it takes a bit more pressure to depress the keys. I'm attributing this to it being brand new compared to the well used original keyboard. My biggest issue with this keyboard is a key will sometimes register as being pressed twice. On average, two words per page wind up with double letters where they shouldn't be. It doesn't seem like much, but it gets annoying. It happens mostly with the letter 'i.' I am hoping it's something that resolves itself as I become accustomed to the keyboard, but for now it is bringing the star count down to a 'just average.'Read full review

I bought this keyboard to replace the one I have been using for the last 2 years, it is the same model KB-216-B. I really like this model, and it works great for me, I have accustomed to the layout and key distance. I am not completely sure if the build quality of this unit is related to cost cutting from Dell or if it is just a knock off , but it "feels" of lesser quality that the ones I used in the past. the plastic feels a bit cheap and the key strokes are different. I do not regret buying this.
