Awesome G-Shock
I have two of these. I know they are extremly well-made. I have G-Shock's GW-300 for almost 12 years working great, went through hell with me and no problem found, I have not had to change a battery. I wanted these MTG's specifically for their big clock's screen. I bought this first piece of blue MTG's two years ago and can't say a single silly word about it. I like its big numbers on the screen - this is the main purpose of any watch - to see the time, right? Not having all the fancy crap around it with other series of watch you can find. They are not too big, but they are not too small either. They are just perfect for normal size person - stylish man who appreciate great looking and elegant watch and who want to count on his watch at anytime, anywhere without being worried to damage ... Excellent tech, can be hard to read
I bought this as a replacement for a G-Shock watch I'd had since 2002 and, sadly, lost. I wanted to have a metal bracelet and found, to my amazement, that Casio does not market black G-Shocks with metal bracelets in the USA, so I went to E-Bay. This model is for the domestic Japanese market, so I won't be seeing a lot of others around town. There are differences that will require some adjustment. The display can be hard to read until you learn a few tricks. For unclear reasons, the contrast increases the farther away it is, holding it closer does not improve clarity. Beautiful design but it faded and stopped working
I love the design of this watch but unfortunately the watch case faded within the first 6 months so it now has a dark greyish look that contrasts with the deep black chain. I wrote an email to the dealer who sent me a certificate of authenticity - unfortunately I can't do much with that in Denmark. Disappointed with the watch it spent a few months in a drawer and when I retrieved it the battery had died - thanks to the solar-tech, it booted back up after a few hours in the sun. However, now the buttons are not working and I cannot set the watch to the accurate time. A beautiful watch that unfortunately faded and is now no longer keeping time. Great watch over priced
these are the best watches i have ever owned and gave my 1st to my son and it is a little banged now but still good, my watch is still great looking and going strong. they were both made in Thailand and purchased them both years ago at a well known warehouse department store. The main thing that gets me about the ones being sold now is the price is well over a hundred dollars from what i paid and they are made in China.
